The AIChE Nuclear Engineering Division (NED) serves engineers and scientists in the nuclear and nuclear chemical sectors. Dr. Ralph A. Leonard is the winner of the Robert E. Wilson Award for 2008. Dr. Leonard has a long history of introducing chemical engineering innovations to the nuclear field. He has also had a long-time association with the Nuclear Engineering Division of AIChE. A luncheon in Dr. Leonard's honor will be held in Philadelphia at the AIChE annual meeting on Tuesday, November 18, at the conference hotel, the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown hotel. You can sign-up for the luncheon during registration and the cost will be $10.

The Nuclear Engineering Division is sponsoring or cosponsoring more than 20 sessions during the annual meeting in Philadelphia November 16-21, 2008. We encourage all NED members to support these sessions by chairing, presenting or attending one or more of these sessions in Philadelphia. For more information please click here.
NED annually awards the Robert E. Wilson award to recognize an individual for outstanding chemical engineering contributions and achievements in the nuclear industry, and promotes the objectives of the Nuclear Engineering Division of AIChE.
