The Nuclear Engineering Division invites any chemical engineering graduate or undergraduate students doing research in nuclear science and technology to participate in the competition for the NED Outstanding Student Paper & Presentation Awards. These Awards include a $500 scholarship and invitation to publish in a peer-reviewed journal. Dr. Sharon M. Robinson is the winner of the Robert E. Wilson Award for 2009. The Robert E. Wilson Award is sponsored by the Fluor Foundation and is awarded annually by the Nuclear Engineering Division of AIChE. For more information please click here.

The Nuclear Engineering Division sponsors numerous sessions and topical meetings at the Spring and Annual meetings of the AIChE. We encourage all NED members to support these sessions by chairing, presenting or attending one or more of these sessions. Please contact one of the officers if you are interested in chairing or organizing a session or topical meeting.
NED annually awards the Robert E. Wilson award to recognize an individual for outstanding chemical engineering contributions and achievements in the nuclear industry, and promotes the objectives of the Nuclear Engineering Division of AIChE. Sarah Widder participated in the AIChE-NED Washington Internships for Students in Engineering (WISE) for the summer of 2009.
